Thank you Janet and Davita Dialysis Smoke Ranch for allowing our Teens to share special moments with Davita! The friendly faces and love from the moment we enter the center will never be forgotten. The smiles were amazing. Some of you remembered us from last year and that just made GIVING a lot more enjoyable. This is our second holiday season with Davita and we plan to continue giving smiles to your center. Middle School Sex Education

Talking to my teen reps are more interesting than one will ever know..... so we had the conversation of what some of their classes consist of and, WOW, what a topic!!!

Are sex toys appropriate tools for young students in the classroom? 


Miss Antoinette, Cheerleader extraordinaire. A bright 13 year old middle school student is not so excited about her Sex Education class.

Antoinette, " Our teacher shows us how to put on a condom, I don't like it."

Equal Platforms, "You have to learn about condoms, how to use them properly, If you are planning have sex far far in the future."

Antoinette, "My teacher has toys for the condoms and we have to put the condom on the toy. They look gross."

Equal Platforms, "What kind of toy?"

Antoinette, "You know...a pink one for girls, and a blue one for boys. She gets on her desk and opens her legs and shows us where the toy goes. It feels weird, I told my teacher I don't want to put a condom on that toy

Equal Platforms, "Wow, um, well, um, hmmmmmmmm, (complete silence). Well just try to do the best you can in your class. You have to learn to be prepared and know about these things , maybe you can teach someone else."

Antoinette, "She keeps them locked away".

Equal Platforms, "That's good." (sigh of relief)
