Not Respected. Not Cool. Not Popular! Bullies Suck...

Are you teaching your youth about the dangers of school bullying and cyber bullying, and works to combat such behavior in schools and neighborhoods???

Bullying is carried out by someone who has more power against someone who has less power. Whether or not you have been bullied, there are things you can do to stop bullying

Bullying affects both parties involved. Bullying is no longer about the strong picking on the weak in the school yard settings.

Physical assault has been replaced by online bashing, students are using instant messaging, emails, chat rooms and web sites they create to humiliate a peer. No longer can parents count on seeing the warning signs of bullying...

Targets of bullying are more likely to grow up depressed and anxious unless the bullying is stopped. Youth who bully are much more likely than non-bullies to become adult criminals.

Bullying can severely affect the victim's self-image, social interactions, and school performance―often leading to insecurity, lack of self-esteem, and depression in adulthood. School dropout rates and absences among victims of bullying are much higher than among other students.

Encourage your children to join with others in telling adults when they see bullying and in reaching out in friendship to isolated youth. Praise your children when they do these things.

Remind our community that we have the power to help.

Be Positive

It can be hard to remember all your good points when someone is doing their best to be negative.

However, try to think of all the wonderful  things you do well and remember that you are a valuable person.

Thinking of how bad the bully must be feeling to try and stop your positive flow in life. So stay creative and innovative.....

Let's... Go Hard and STOMP OUT Bullying!
