Not Respected. Not Cool. Not Popular! Bullies Suck...

Are you teaching your youth about the dangers of school bullying and cyber bullying, and works to combat such behavior in schools and neighborhoods???

Bullying is carried out by someone who has more power against someone who has less power. Whether or not you have been bullied, there are things you can do to stop bullying!

Bullying affects both parties involved. Bullying is no longer about the strong picking on the weak in the school yard settings.

Physical assault has been replaced by online bashing, students are using instant messaging, emails, chat rooms and web sites they create to humiliate a peer. No longer can parents count on seeing the warning signs of bullying...

Targets of bullying are more likely to grow up depressed and anxious unless the bullying is stopped. Youth who bully are much more likely than non-bullies to become adult criminals.

Bullying can severely affect the victim's self-image, social interactions, and school performance―often leading to insecurity, lack of self-esteem, and depression in adulthood. School dropout rates and absences among victims of bullying are much higher than among other students.

Encourage your children to join with others in telling adults when they see bullying and in reaching out in friendship to isolated youth. Praise your children when they do these things.

Remind our community that we have the power to help.

Be Positive

It can be hard to remember all your good points when someone is doing their best to be negative.

However, try to think of all the wonderful  things you do well and remember that you are a valuable person.

Thinking of how bad the bully must be feeling to try and stop your positive flow in life. So stay creative and innovative.....

$$$$$ Save Big Money In your Own Home!!!

Energy-Saving Tips For Your Home the Entire Year!!!

  • Use a fan to help your air conditioner spread cooled air more effectively through your home without greatly increasing energy use.

  • Save on air conditioning by closing supply vents in unused rooms. (Note: If you have a heat pump, vents should be left open.)

  • Always wash full load of clothes or adjust the water level for smaller loads. My laundry day is Sunday!

  • Draw shades or drapes to block sunlight during the hottest part of the day.

  • When you’ll be away from home for more than four hours, raise the thermostat 5-10 degrees or more. Install a programmable thermostat and set it to adjust the temperature throughout the day.

  • For bathrooms, hallways or bedrooms consider installing LED night lights equipped with photo sensors to keep them off during daylight hours.

  • Don’t let kitchen or bathroom exhaust fans run longer than necessary.

  • Use the energy-saving feature on computers, monitors, printers, copiers and other business equipment. Turn them off at the end of the day.

  • Lower your water heater to the optimal temperature of 120–125 degrees.

  • Clean or replace furnace/air-conditioning filters every routinely.

  • Dry only full loads of laundry and keep the dryer’s lint filter clean so it operates at maximum efficiency.

  • Create less heat in your home by drying clothes in the early morning or later in the evening.

  • Take showers instead of baths to save water. Use cooler water to save energy.

  • Make sure drapes and furniture aren’t blocking the air supply vents in your home.

  • Use an automatic clothes-drying cycle instead of a timed cycle. Put in the next load quickly to make use of leftover heat.

  • Fill a dishpan with rinse water instead of letting the faucet run while you do dishes by hand. We all are guilty of this, lol.

  • I promise you, these hot tips work, and I have shared them with many friends and family reducing my own ulitlies by 30%.

I hope to get better at it.....Good luck and let's Save, Save, Save!!
