Il Postino's located in the heart of Manhattan. Just minutes away from Park Ave. and close to many great shops in the area. I thoroughly enjoy my dining experience at Il Postinos.
We arrive near lunch time, so there was no waiting to be seated, no reservations needed at that time. The restaurant was perfect for a great lunch in the city. The staff was kind and very responsive from the start. The beautiful flowers on the tables were a nice touch.
The menu look so delicious, I decided to start with my favorite, Calamari alla Griglia , Fresh grilled calamari, aromatic herbs, which was cooked to perfection. Great dish!! The Risotto alla Griglia , Grilled Risotto with radicchio, an awesome presentation and the taste was divine.
The food and service there was wonderful and filling. The prices were reasonable. (Not recommended for the frugal-lol) The portions were good size and I couldn't even stuff in dessert. You will enjoy a nice peaceful eating experience in a mostly residential block in midtown. Loved it!!! Very worth the visit...
